Incredibile knitwear

A friend of mine brought this knitwear designer to my attention and I'm in awe...I love the innovative use of texture and the contrasts between different textures, the colorwork, the attention to detail, and yes, I'll admit it, the wearability and class of the garments she designs. The designer, who studied Applied Science and worked as a Radiographer before she started studying fashion design is inspired by science and programmes her garments from x-rays and CT-scans, you can read her biography here.

Una mia amica mi ha fatto scoprire questa designer di maglieria e devo dire che è stata una scoperta incredibile...Mi piace moltissimo l'uso innovativo dei punti per creare trame e contrasti differenti, l'uso particolare del colore, l'attenzione per il dettaglio, e anche, lo ammetterò, la portabilità ed eleganza dei capi disegnati da Brooke Roberts, sia per quanto riguarda le collezioni estive che quelle invernali...
La designer, che prima di studiare moda si è laureata in Scienze Applicate e lavorava come radiografa, si ispira alla scienza per i suoi capi e programma i pezzi a partire da delle radiografie, si può leggere la sua biografia qui.
