Sessùn

A few months ago a friend of mine brought this brand to my attention. She used to work in a store that sold items from Sessùn and she owns a few things herself. I really love the style of this brand, lots of pretty patterns, peter pan collars, ruffles and color! And by lots of color I really mean lots of different colors, not just orange and teal, which are basically the only colors you would see in stores in Torino this winter... (I repeated the word "colors" three times in that sentence, my middle and highschool teachers would definitely not be proud right now).
Sessùn was created 15 years ago by Emma François, an anthropology student from Montepellier who found inspiration for her career in fashion while travelling, especially in South America...you can read her biography here (it's in french).

Qualche mese fa una mia amica mi ha parlato di questa marca. Lavorava in un negozio dove vendevano anche capi di Sessùn e lei stessa ha parecchie cose di questa marca. Mi piace molto lo stile di Sessùn, molte fantasie, ruches, colletti alla bebè e tanti colori! (Ma sul serio, non solo arancio e verde petrolio, colori bellissimi eh, ma praticamente gli unici che si trovano nei negozi a Torino quest'inverno).
La marca è stata creata 15 anni fa da Emma François, una studentessa di antropologia di Montpellier che ha trovato la sua vocazione viaggiando, in particolare in Sud America (la sua biografia, in francese, si può leggere qui).
