F.O.: Midnight blue empire waist blouse

I posted a sneek peak of this top a while ago when I was writing about the lovely cotton I was using and here is the finished product. Let me tell you, it so difficult to photograph dark colors like these, the lighting wasn't helping too much either, so it was very hard for me to capture the shape and details of this blouse. This empire waisted top has ribbing under the chest and a checkered textured stitch border at the cuffs of the sleeves, along the bottom and around the v-neck. It's very classic and versatile, it can function as a simple t-shirt or can be dressed up a bit more with statement jewellery depending on what you need...a wardrobe staple you count on for years and years!

Avevo postato una foto di un dettaglio questa maglia in un post in cui parlavo del meraviglioso filato che ho usato...ed ecco il prodotto finito! Non è stato facile fotografarlo, è sempre molto difficile far rendere in foto questi capi così scuri, e la scarsa luce tardo-pomeridiana non aiutava.
Questa camicetta stile impero ha piccole coste sotto il seno e bordi a scacchi sulle maniche, in basso e intorno allo scollo a V. Si tratta di un capo molto classico e versatile, sia per il colore che per la forma, a seconda di come la si abbina può essere usata come semplice maglietta o resa più elegante per la sera con dei gioielli più impegnativi, un passepartout da usare per anni ed anni!
